The village has around 20 houses.
The road leading to the village is 8 minutes from the main
road and is an excellent tarmac road with panoramic views of the
lake.
On the hillsides around the village are many other cottages, with a good
mix of English and Spanish neighbour s. For convenience, the
village has the traditional daily morning visits by the bread and
grocery vans and on certain days has visits from the vegetable and
fish vans. What a service !!.
There are small shops and supermarkets 10 minutes away. In Antequera, 25 mins
away, there are large shopping malls and hypermarkets.
The cottage has been renovated to a high standard but all the cozy, charming olde-worlde Spanish features and
the beamed ceilings have been kept.
House area is 130 sq metres, a
front patio of 24 sq metres and a new rear patio of 40 sq metres

The front terrace, which has open aspect to the olive groves, has two grape
vines, which form a canopy of shade in the summer as well as
provide sweet tasting grapes.
There is a large terrace at the rear of the property, which
backs onto the hillside of olive groves. This rear terrace is
large enough to be changed into a swimming pool or even have a hot
tub should you so wish.
The garden you will have is 100’s of sq. kilometres of olive groves and
you don’t have the worry of keeping it tidy !!
The heating is by log fire in the lounge, the
kitchen has an open fireplace, plus also Split
heating/air-conditioning units.
The cottage is used as a permanent home but is excellent for use also as a
holiday home, as it is maintenance free and easy to just turn the
key, lock the door and have no worries. A Spanish neighbour in the
village is happy to clean and make ready the cottage before
arrival which is a bonus.

estates and every shop you can imagine.
