The small village of Facinas lies in the western part of the Campo de Gibraltar in the province of Cadiz, Andalucia, Spain. It is the most densely populated zone within the municipal boundaries of Tarifa.
The village is located between two Natural Parks, “Los Alcornocales” and the “Litoral del Estrecho de Gibraltar”, between the towns of Vejer (32 km) and Tarifa (16 km). It lies on the eastern side of the N-340 Cádiz - Algerciras highway and is just ten minutes away from the beautiful beaches of Bolonia and Valdevaqueros.

Facinas occupies the south-western end of the Cordilleras Béticas mountains. It lies on the north-western skirts of the Sierra de Saladaviciosa range which, together with the Fates and Enmedio ranges forms a mountain chain running through the municipal area of Tarifa. The village overlooks the bowl of the now dried up Laguna de la Janda.
